Zeolite is one of the most fascinating and powerful supplements on the market today. I truly believe in the healing potential of this amazing product when used properly. This article is designed to empower you with knowledge on how to effectively use zeolite supplements to help you and your family reach the next level in your healing journey. Let's get started.

Zeolite is a naturally occurring mineral that contains a very strong “cage-like” structure and negative charge.  There are many types of naturally occurring zeolites. The zeolite that is being discussed in this article is called clinoptilolite, which is the form that has been most studied for human consumption.

How Does Zeolite Work?

Zeolite is a naturally occurring mineral that contains a very strong “cage-like” structure and negative charge. There are many types of naturally occurring zeolites. The zeolite that is being discussed in this article is called clinoptilolite, which is the form that has been studied most thoroughly for human consumption. Due to its strong negative charge, zeolite is attracted to positively charged elements which it collects in it’s cage-like structure.

Considering that many toxic elements- things like mercury, lead, cesium, ammonia, mycotoxins and many environmental toxicants- are positively charged, zeolite is pulled to the toxins, like a magnet, and sucks them into its structure. These dangerous substances become trapped in zeolite’s cage structure, and are then safely and gently carried out of the body.

What Does Zeolite Bind to?

Heavy Metals- Toxic metals such as mercury, lead, cadmium and arsenic can accumulate in our bodies over time and put an enormous burden on our immune and nervous systems, and make our bodies work overtime to stay healthy. Eventually our bodies lose the ability to keep up with the excess demand and symptoms such as chronic fatigue, brain fog, irritability, and a host of other symptoms and conditions can manifest. Zeolite can trap these metals in its cage-like structure for safe removal. Once the heavy metal burden is lifted your body can start functionally at its peak potential again.

Environmental Toxicants- In the 21st century we face an unprecedented number of toxic stressors in our daily lives. From the air you breathe, to the food you eat, to the water you may be drinking – toxicants are everywhere. Over time these toxic substances accumulate in your body wreaking havoc on your health. Fatigue, brain fog, weight gain, a weakened immune system, and countless health issues are common side effects when these toxins build up. Since most of these toxic elements have a positive charge they will fall victim to zeolite’s strong binding capacity for safe removal from the body.

Mycotoxins- Mold toxicity is increasingly becoming recognized as a serious problem and a player in a number of chronic conditions. Mold toxins (mycotoxins) can result in strong immune responses that lead to a state of chronic inflammation and hypersensitivity. Clinoptilolite zeolite has been shown to bind to mycotoxins including Aflotoxins and Ochratoxin A.

Microbial Toxins- When microbes get out of balance in your body some of them start releasing toxic elements as waste products resulting in a constant supply of inflammation and irritation. These microbes turn into little “toxin factories” that are constantly producing biotoxins that are putting extra stress on your system and often resulting in uncomfortable symptoms. Many of the symptoms that result from conditions associated with microbial imbalance such as Lyme Disease result primarily from the toxins produced by microbes, not the microbes themselves. These toxins make their way to the bloodstream where the immune system mounts an attack and inflammation occurs as a result. Zeolite helps bind many of these toxins before the they have a chance to wreak havoc on the body.

Metabolic Waste- As our bodies are hard at work day and night trying to remain in balance, toxic byproducts are produced which are known as metabolic waste. Ammonia is an example of a metabolic waste product produced by the body. Ammonia is highly toxic and can wreak havoc on your body if not effectively cleared. Ammonia is produced in a number of ways in the body including during protein digestion. Your liver takes the ammonia and converts it to urea which is then filtered through the kidneys and out of your body. Urea is also toxic but not as bad as ammonia. The process in which the body converts ammonia to urea is called the urea cycle. If your body’s ability to complete this process efficiently is impaired, as is often the case with poor liver function, ammonia builds up in the blood and becomes very toxic- causing damage to the central nervous system and can even cross into the brain where it is toxic to brain cells. If kidney function is impaired urea may build up which is also toxic. The good news is that zeolite binds to both ammonia and urea!

Histamine- As the body is hard at work protecting us from a daily invasion of toxic stressors, inflammatory substances such as histamine are produced by the immune system. If there is an excess of histamine produced it could result in a number of symptoms. Many people with overactive immune systems or with conditions such as Mast Cell Activation Syndrome produce a lot of histamine and often experience symptoms such as hives, itchy skin, flushing, and headaches on a regular basis. Zeolite can bind to excess histamine greatly reducing symptoms of histamine intolerance and can even help with seasonal allergies.

Radioactive Particles - Clinoptilolite has been shown to bind to radioactive isotopes such as cesium-137 and strontium-90. Clinoptilolite has been used to successfully remove these radioactive isotopes from waste water. Clinoptilolite was used on a large scale during the Chernobyl nuclear disaster and was successfully used to decontaminate low-level radiation waters. The cesium concentration was reduced by a factor of 1000.

Zeolite vs Activated Charcoal and Bentonite Clay

There are a number of great natural binders out there including activated charcoal and bentonite clay. These are fantastic products and can be very helpful in a detox protocol. But binders such as charcoal and bentonite clay don't have the same capabilities as zeolite clay. Charcoal and bentonite are great at mopping up toxins but they don't have the binding capacity of a high-quality zeolite powder. Bentonite clay and charcoal may be used in conjunction with zeolite in a detox protocol but it's my opinion that zeolite should be included and considered the primary agent for an effective detox. Another key to consider when using most binders is that they aren't selective like zeolite so they bind to everything with a positive charge including minerals. Zeolite is a selective binder that only goes after toxic metals so you don't have to worry about it depleting your body of essential minerals.

Is Zeolite Safe?

Yes, absolutely...well at least the high-quality clinoptilolite zeolite we utilize in ZeoCharge™. I can't speak to the safety of other zeolite products on the market. Our zeolite goes through a proprietary cleaning process to remove any toxic elements or contamination and is micronized for human consumption. It is noteworthy that there are many types of zeolite, but we are only talking about clinoptilolite zeolite here, which is the primary type of zeolite that is used in supplements. Zeolite is a natural mineral and has a variety of elements in it. It is important to note that the structure of clinoptilolite zeolite does not get broken down in the body. Because zeolite does not get broken down in the body, it does not leach any elements that make up the compound. Zeolite is not like an essential mineral that is utilized for cellular functions. It simply passes through your body collecting positively charged toxic elements and then is excreted. Warning- This is only true for purified clinoptilolite zeolite. Other forms of zeolite have not been studied for human health and I don't recommend consuming them.

Zeolite: The Dosing Paradox

The biggest mistake I see people making with zeolite is taking too low of a dose. The traditional start low and slow approach to supplements does not apply with zeolite- a lower dose is more likely to cause detox reactions than a higher dose. Too low of a dose will results in redistribution of toxins, and an ineffective detox. Although it seems counter-intuitive, we recommend starting with a higher dose and working down to a lower dose. The higher the dose, the less likely you are to experience a detox reaction and redistribution of toxins. Taking a higher dose of a high-quality zeolite powder like ZeoCharge™ can expedite your results and reduce or eliminate uncomfortable symptoms associated with detox, even in sensitive individuals. Starting with a higher dose is especially important for individuals prone to detox reactions. It is very important to note that this observation is based on use with ZeoCharge™ and may not apply to all zeolite products. ZeoCharge™ meets certain criteria that makes this possible, many zeolite supplements do not. Here are Five Reasons why a Higher Dose may be Gentler and more Effective than a Low Dose:

Reason One: A Higher Dose Prevents Redistribution of Toxic Elements.

Redistribution occurs when things get stirred up and the body isn’t able to remove all of the toxins from circulation. The toxins that are not expelled from the body relocate to a new home in the body. Taking a higher dose of zeolite results in having enough available zeolite cages to deal with toxins currently in circulation and toxins that are pushed into circulation as things get stirred up in the body during the detox process. This prevents the body from being overwhelmed with toxins which results in redistribution and an overall stressful experience on the body.

Reason Two: A Higher Dose helps remove immune-stimulating toxins that are released during detox, preventing an unnecessary immune response resulting in inflammation.

As toxic elements are dumped into circulation the immune system starts attacking these elements which results in inflammation and stress on the body. Having available zeolite cages to bind to these toxic substances before the immune system attacks them will prevent inflammation and symptoms from occurring.

Reason Three: A higher dose of zeolite helps prevent or remove byproducts of detox that are stressful on the body such as excess histamine and free radicals. Available zeolite cages will help reduce current levels of free radicals and histamine along with any histamine and free radicals produced during the detox process.

Reason Four: A higher dose helps remove your “daily dose” of toxins that are lowering your body’s total detox potential. Removing these toxins allows your body to better deal with toxins dumped into circulation as things get stirred up during detox. Your daily dose of toxins is the total amount of new toxins your body is exposed to daily. The daily dose is made up of toxins from external exposure along with internal production. Most people don’t realize that the majority of the toxins the body is exposed to are generated from within. These internally produced toxins include metabolic waste and microbial waste. When you add these to other internally produced toxic substances such as free radicals and excess histamine, the daily dose of toxins adds up fast. If your body is already having a difficult time keeping up with its daily dose of toxins, starting a detox protocol to remove stored toxins may overload the body resulting in redistribution of toxins and uncomfortable detox symptoms. The higher your daily dose of toxins, the more zeolite you will need.

I believe that zeolite’s ability to help remove the body’s daily dose of toxins is why so many of these “too sick to detox” individuals have been able to successfully detox with zeolite. Once again the dose is crucial. A low dose could overwhelm the system if there aren’t enough available zeolite cages to remove the daily dose toxins from circulation before additional toxins start getting stirred up.

Reason Five: A higher dose helps raise your body’s natural detox capacity by balancing pH levels, reducing inflammation, optimizing immune function, reducing oxidative stress, and improving nutritional status.

The amount of toxins each person is able to handle will be determined by what I call natural detox capacity, which is simply your body’s ability to remove toxins through natural detox functions. The healthier your body is, the higher your natural detox capacity will be. There are many factors that will lower your natural detox capacity including chronic inflammation, an overstimulated immune system, oxidative stress, pH imbalance, and nutrient deficiencies to name a few. The goal is to have a natural detox capacity high enough to effectively remove the daily dose of toxins plus have energy to remove stored toxins. Your ability to avoid accumulation of toxic elements in your body is largely determined by your natural detox capacity. The lower your body’s natural detox capacity, the faster you will accumulate toxins. The healthier you are, the higher your natural detox capacity will be which means your body can handle a higher load of toxins and accumulation will be kept to a minimum. A less healthy individual will have a lower natural detox capacity and toxin accumulation will occur at a much higher rate. The more stress your body is under the lower your natural detox capacity will be. When the body is burdened with anything that makes it work harder than normal to stay in balance its ability to detox decreases and whatever toxins the body can’t remove will be pushed into organs and fatty tissue for storage. Not only does zeolite directly bind to toxins, but it can greatly improve your natural detox capacity. Just from binding to toxins in circulation it takes a load off of the body and helps it keep up with the daily dose of toxins. Now that the body has some help it will stop accumulating toxins and will start dumping toxins from storage for elimination. Zeolite reduces the formation of free radicals and prevents oxidative stress from occurring, it helps regulate the body’s pH, calms down the immune system, lowers inflammation, helps optimize essential nutrient levels, helps repair the lining of the gut, and more. All of these things will contribute to a higher natural detox capacity. Of course it taking the proper dose of zeolite is essential to achieve this. Taking too low of a dose could lower your body’s natural detox capacity, while taking a proper dose will raise it. If a low dose of zeolite is taken which results in redistribution of toxins and stress on the body, the body’s natural detox capacity will go down. If a proper dose is taken that removes stress on the body, natural detox capacity will rise.

Recommended Detox Dose

The dose needed varies from person to person based on a number of factors. Basically, the more complex the health challenge the higher the dose that is needed. For ZeoCharge™ we have found that a starting dose of 10 grams per day (2 scoops), taken all at once, works great. If a headache or other detox symptoms occurs it is recommended to double the dose. The healthier you are, the less you need.

Maintenance dose for a healthy individual: 5 grams (one scoop) per day, taken all at once.

Dose for someone who is not as healthy as they would like to be: 10-30 grams per day, taken all at once.

"Holy Shift" Reactions

Taking the proper dose of zeolite can greatly reduce your chances of experiencing a detox reaction by reducing the redistribution of toxins and metals but sometimes "shift happens" and "holy shift" symptoms may be unavoidable. When you first start taking zeolite a major transformation begins to take place. Metals and other toxic elements are uprooted and removed and pathogenic microbes are disrupted. This shifting process can be stressful and result in a number of reactions. Everybody responds a little differently to zeolite based on their toxic load and microbial activity. The more toxic an individual the more likely a reaction will occur because it will result in a more dramatic shift/transformation in the body. As toxic elements are removed and microbes are balanced your body begins shifting into a healthier state. During this shift some will experience undesirable side effects which might make them say, “holy shift what is happening to me?” The more toxic or gut-impaired an individual the more likely that they will experience “holy shift” symptoms.

Why is Zeolite Considered a Smart Binder?

Because of it's strong negative charge zeolite always contains positively charged elements in it's cage and those elements will determine what zeolite binds to. Zeolite works by swapping what it has for what it prefers. So if the zeolite cage contains calcium it will hold on to the calcium until it finds something it likes better, like a heavy metal- let's say lead. Zeolite has a stronger affinity for lead than calcium so the zeolite will basically trade the calcium for lead. It will then hold the lead until it finds something it likes better and will make another trade. If it doesn't come across anything that it likes better it will keep holding the lead and will not bind to anything else. This process is what makes zeolite a selective or smart binder. It is not acting as a traditional chelator (claw) that is grabbing anything available. It is swapping the positively charged elements it has collected in its cage for other positively charged elements it is more attracted to. So basically if zeolite comes in contact with a toxic element it prefers over what it already has it will bind to it, otherwise it will leave it alone. The cleaner the zeolite, the greater the range of things it will bind to. But if the zeolite is too clean (minerals removed) it could lead to mineral loss. That's why ZeoCharge™ is re-mineralized after the cleaning process with ionic trace minerals.

Zeolite and Mineral Absorption

Zeolite has the potential to balance essential mineral levels in your body by removing toxic metals that are competing for space in your body. Toxic metals and essential minerals are similar in structure and your cells may even have a stronger bond to toxic metals than essential minerals because they are heavier. If this is the case, supplementing with essential minerals might not raise your cellular or tissue levels of those minerals if metals are present blocking the absorption of the minerals. If the toxic metals are removed then the body will have space to receive the essential minerals.

What About Liquid Zeolite?

First of all just to clarify, liquid zeolite is not actually liquefied zeolite, it's powdered zeolite mixed with water. Most of the liquid zeolite products on the market are simply traditional powdered zeolite mixed with water. So we are essentially talking about the same zeolite being used in the liquids and the powders. There is really no advantage to these liquid zeolite products over a high-quality zeolite powder. These companies often make claims such as their zeolite is "hydrated" which means nothing more than that it is mixed with water. If you take a small amount of powdered zeolite and mix it in water you have just made your own "hydrated" liquid zeolite. Many of these products are marketed as nanosized zeolite although they are the same particle size as many of the powders, because they are just powdered zeolite mixed with water. In some cases however, liquid and spray zeolite supplements exclusively contain nanosized zeolite particles which are smaller than what is used in many powdered zeolite supplements. The idea here is that these nanoparticles can cross the blood brain barrier and provide a full-body detox while many of the powdered zeolite supplements only detox the gut. This is great in theory but in reality these liquid zeolite supplements are limited in what they can detox and pose potential safety concerns due to the low dose in the products and lack of research on nano zeolites. In addition, some of these nano-sized zeolite products are lab-grown or synthetic opposed to naturally occurring zeolite.

The Challenge with Liquid and Nano Zeolites

Both the quality of the zeolite and the quantity taken must be considered when taking a zeolite supplement. Although there are some quality liquid zeolite products on the market, they aren't able to provide the quantity of zeolite generally needed to get the best results. As discussed earlier in this article taking the proper dose of zeolite is crucial for detox success. Taking too low of a dose zeolite may result in negative outcomes, especially in individuals more prone to detox reactions. A low dose often results in undesirable detox symptoms, redistribution of toxins, and an inefficient detox. In order to effectively detox with zeolite, you need a relatively high dose, and the more toxic you are the higher dose you need. We believe that the therapeutic dose needed to offer an effective and efficient detox in many individuals cannot be achieved with liquid zeolite supplements. For most liquid zeolite products, you would need to take over 100 bottles per day to get the proper dose (we don't recommend trying this). Many people are tricked into thinking that their liquid zeolite supplement is working because they are experiencing a detox reaction. While the reaction indicates that something is happening in the body, it is usually a sign of an inefficient detox.

For reference, one jar of ZeoCharge™ contains 150 grams (150,000 milligrams) of zeolite. If you look on the label of your liquid zeolite supplement you will find that each bottle contains only a fraction of the amount of zeolite because the contents of the product is primarily water. Many liquid zeolite products don’t even include the dose in milligrams on the bottle. On of the more popular liquid zeolite supplements on the market does include the dose on the label, and if you do the math you will see that the entire bottle only includes 18mg of zeolite. That means that one jar of ZeoCharge™ contains 8,333x the amount of zeolite as this liquid zeolite product. I’m not saying that all liquid zeolite supplements are terrible or that they won’t help you, but I have found ZeoCharge™ to be a much more effective solution. If you are currently using a liquid zeolite supplement I invite you to give ZeoCharge™ a try to bring your detox game to a whole new level!

Zeolite vs other Detox Supplements

Most detox supplements, by design, are going to add stress to the body during the detox process. The goal is generally to mobilize heavy metals and toxicants from tissue so they can be excreted through natural detox mechanisms. This “detox stress” can be quite burdensome on the detox organs and the entire system. While the long-term benefits of this method of detox usually outweigh the negative impacts of the detox process in the short term, it can lead to a number of uncomfortable symptoms (detox reactions), and for some individuals, it is too much for their bodies to handle and they have to stop the protocol or supplement.

Each person has a certain amount of energy that they can expend towards detox; I refer to this as detox energy. The more stressors that are present at any given time, the more total energy is needed to deal with all the stressors. If somebody has a high “daily dose” of toxicity, they may be utilizing all of their detox energy towards combating this toxicity. This is one reason why heavy metals and toxicants get stored in tissue and organs for years. The body doesn’t have enough energy to deal with more toxicity than it already deals with on a daily basis, so it just leaves the metals in “storage” as opposed to trying to remove them, which would overburden the system.

If the body is at max capacity in terms of what it can handle, and metals and toxicants are then dumped into the body’s processing center, this is more than the body can comfortably handle, and the result may be detox symptoms such as headaches, joint pain, irritability, etc. So traditional detox adds stress to the body by mobilizing toxicants from tissue and dumping them into an already overburdened “processing center” where the body has to expend additional effort to remove them.

In contrast to traditional detox supplements, when used appropriately, zeolite generally reduces the total stress load on the body as opposed to adding to it. It does this by effectively binding to a number of the daily dose toxins that the body is prioritizing for removal. These daily dose toxins include both internal and external toxins. External sources include everything we are exposed to on a daily basis (food, water, air, etc.). These are generally the toxins we think about needing to detox.

An overlooked source of toxicity, in my opinion, is the internally produced toxins such as metabolic waste products. Our bodies are naturally producing toxic waste products every day, and it requires a tremendous amount of detox energy to remove these. If detox organs are not working effectively, there could be a buildup of waste products such as ammonia, urea, aldehydes, along with increased free radical production and excess histamine. If the body is struggling to keep up with its daily dose of toxins and a traditional detox supplement is taken that mobilizes toxicants from tissue without addressing the daily dose toxins, this could be problematic.

I believe the primary benefit of zeolite is its ability to effectively bind to these waste products and other daily dose toxins that are making the body work overtime to stay balanced. When these daily dose toxins are bound by zeolite, the result is a reduction of stress on the body and an increase in detox energy. I believe that after the zeolite goes in and cleans things up, the body then utilizes its increased detox energy to dump metals and toxicants into tissue at its own pace. Zeolite is essentially making room for the body to receive more toxicity. So it really does a great job of working with the body’s natural detox system as opposed to fighting against it like many methods.

Ultimately, the body is in control of detox, and it is best to work with the body’s natural detox system as opposed to trying to override or fight against it by mobilizing metals that it may not be able to handle. So essentially, most detox supplements add stress to an overburdened system by mobilizing metals and toxicants from tissue and increasing the workload on the body’s natural detox system. Zeolite reduces the stress load on the body by binding to daily dose toxins that are stressing out the system and using up most of the body’s detox energy. The body is then able to dump metals and toxic elements from organs and tissue at its own pace because there is now room to receive them in the body’s processing center and more energy to safely remove them. The zeolite detox approach is especially helpful for individuals prone to detox reactions or those who haven’t been able to stick with detox protocols in the past due to extreme detox reactions.

Zeolite Buyer's Guide

The two most important aspects to consider when utilizing zeolite for detox are quality and quantity. It's important to choose a quality, effective zeolite product and also to take it at the necessary dose. Utilizing a poor quality zeolite or taking the wrong dose can result in negative outcomes. Poor quality zeolite supplements may be contaminated with toxic elements which lower the total binding power of the zeolite in your body. Here are four things to look for in a zeolite product:

Natural Clinoptilolite Zeolite: There are a number of forms of zeolite, and the one that has been studied and proven safe for human consumption is clinoptilolite. Many of the other types of zeolite have lower silica content, which makes them less stable and could lead to a breakdown of the zeolite structure in your body. In addition, many forms of zeolite have sharp edges, opposed to the softer-edged clinoptilolite. There are a number of synthetic forms of zeolite that have been developed, and some are being sold in supplements. I highly recommend avoiding these, as studies show that synthetic zeolite can leach aluminum into the body, while natural clinoptilolite does not. The percentage of clinoptilolite in natural zeolite products also varies. Look for a product with over 90% clinoptilolite. Many products on the market are in the 70–80% range. ZeoCharge™ contains 94% clinoptilolite.

Cleaned: Naturally occurring zeolite is often contaminated with a number of toxic elements due to its strong binding capabilities. It is important that the zeolite is cleaned to remove any unwanted contaminants. The cleaner the zeolite, the more binding capacity it will have.

Particle size: We recommend zeolite particles in the range of 0.5–8 microns. We have found that zeolite products within this range are the most widely studied and most effective. With particle sizes over 8 microns, the zeolite becomes quite grainy and has a texture similar to sand. A range of particle sizes from 0.5 to 8 microns seems to work great, and that is what is in ZeoCharge™. If the particle size is larger, the product becomes less effective and more unpleasant to consume. We don’t recommend nano zeolite due to lack of research and safety concerns. We don’t recommend liquid zeolite products or sprays due to the extremely low dose that is present in these products.

Choose Powder: Although there are a number of quality liquid zeolite products on the market, we have found that they don’t compare in effectiveness to a high-quality, full-spectrum zeolite powder like ZeoCharge™ primarily due to the low zeolite content as they are diluted with water.

Proof: It is always nice when a company can back up their claims with some data. ZeoCharge™ has been shown to be an effective tool to lower tissue levels of 15 heavy metals. You can check out some of the proof on the case studies page.

Important Note

Everything I have mentioned in this article is based off of my experience and research with ZeoBoost™ . I cannot speak to the quality of other zeolite products on the market and these principles may not apply.

Common Questions:

How Do I know If It's Working?

Whether you feel anything or not, ZeoCharge™ is working. Even if you have no toxins stored in your body and you have absolutely no exposure to external toxins, ZeoCharge™ will still help remove internally produced toxins such as metabolic waste and microbial waste that your body produces daily. In addition it will help keep you young and healthy by reducing free radical formation and helping your body better handle its daily production of free radicals. If you aren’t healthy, ZeoCharge™ can help you get healthy. If you are healthy, ZeoCharge™ can help you stay healthy!

How Long Should I Keep Taking Zeolite?

Detox and staying healthy is a lifelong journey. We aren't going to be healthy by accident living in the 21st century. We have to take control of our health. We recommended taking ZeoCharge™ for at least 90 days at between 2-6 scoops per day and then lowering the dose as your peel away the layers of toxicity. The healthier you become, the less you need. Many people choose to maintain on 1 scoop for daily support.

Zeolite and the Question about Aluminum

Zeolites are, by definition, aluminosilicates. So they are made up mostly of silica and aluminum. This is what makes zeolite zeolite. There is no way to remove the aluminum or silica. The important thing to understand is that when taking a high-quality natural clinoptilolite zeolite product like ZeoCharge™, it is not going to break down in your body. The silica and aluminum are bound in the zeolite structure and simply pass through and leave. The zeolite does not get stuck in your body. Clinoptilolite zeolite does not contain loose aluminum that could cause toxicity.

The form of aluminum in Zeocharge is aluminum oxide, which is not considered a metal. It is considered a ceramic material that is non-metallic which is not reactive like the metallic aluminum that poses a risk to human health.

Having said that, there is reason to be concerned regarding lab-grown or synthetic zeolites. While all of the research indicates that natural clinoptilolite zeolite powder does not cause aluminum toxicity, there is research indicating that synthetic zeolite may accumulate in tissue. This is why it is important to choose a high-quality, natural, clinoptilolite zeolite powder. We recommend avoiding synthetic or lab-grown zeolite, forms of zeolite other than clinoptilolite, and nano zeolites.

In our case studies program prior to launching, we were able to prove that Zeocharge absolutely does not cause aluminum toxicity (even at high doses), and in fact has a very strong aluminum detoxing effect. So while there are reasons to be concerned with some zeolite products, with ZeoCharge™ there is nothing to worry about.

I wish this wasn't so expensive, is there a senor/disability discount? I normally supplement my income, but my joint pain/back pain is really bad now. I had mercury poisoning and didn't stay on Zeolite long enough in 2006. It did wonders, but I live in a different place and don't have the distributor any longer.

I'm thinking it will help with my back eventually?

Hi Lindy, I am in SA too, may I ask what brand you're using and is it micronised?.. Thanks, Melanie
